In anticipation of the arrival of a brand new baby in their family, Joe and Jamie – a couple from Little Ferry, New Jersey - decided to combine forces with My Wonderful Walls and bring the thrills of the jungle to the East Coast. While the couple are waiting to be surprised at whether the baby will be a little boy or girl, one thing is for sure: the newest member of their family will be greeted by wild walls that play host to a variety of fun loving animals!
Using the Jungle Wall Mural Stencil Kit, Joe and Jamie were able to put their artistic skills and visions to use in the nursery. While the verdict is still out on whether their new bundle of joy will be pleased with the results, big brother Tyler and big sister Ava loved the colorful mural. As the siblings the new baby will look up to, we hope that Tyler and Ava are ready to lead their baby brother or sister through the jungle nursery with lots of love and care.
Joe and Jamie decided to opt for a wall stencil kit for the convenience and creative edge. Not only were they able to create as many wall animals as they like, but because the stencils are reusable, there’s plenty of room for more in the future!
This nursery jungle came to life over the span of 3 exciting days; we were happy to hear that Joe and Jamie didn’t feel like they had to be aspiring Picassos to make their walls “picturesque.” They let us know that the process was simple and comfortable and we couldn’t be happier with the feedback. In fact, they were even able to combine their wall stencils with a few personal touches of their own. The use of different background colors gave their wall art a unique dimension that their little one will no doubt enjoy.
Their initial search for wall art on Google let them to My Wonderful Walls and from there, we were able to quickly get their order processed and shipped. Upon completion of their nursery, Joe and Jamie had a few great tips for others who are looking to put together stencil murals at home. They suggest using two coats of paint on each image. This provides for a more vivid color, but might require a little extra drying time. For this, they recommend using a hairdryer on the images which helps the paint dry within minutes!
Baby number three is scheduled to arrive May 29, 2012, and we want to wish Joe and Jamie, Tyler and Ava all the best! We can’t wait to hear how much the baby loves his or her jungle-themed nursery! Congratulations! And a sincere thanks for letting us into your home and sharing your story with us.
