ORDERING

How do I place an order online?

Ordering online is easy. Simply select the item you want to order and click the Add to Can button. Once in the Shopping Can, you can review your order, see totals, and calculate shipping charges. Shipping is free for orders $90 or more within the continental US. Shipping is $13 to Canada, $9 to Puerto Rico and $30-$40 to Europe, Australia and S. Africa.

Can I place my order by phone?

Yes, we accept phone orders toll-free at 888-945-4443. We are available Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm EST to help you place your order or answer your questions. Give us a call!

 

Can I expedite the order?

We can expedite orders if needed. Give us a call at 888-945-4443 and we will give you quotes for you shipping rate options.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. You can order online or by phone at 1-888-945-4443.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax will only be assessed for orders that are shipped within the state of Tennessee (9%).

TRACKING AN ORDER

How do I track my order?

Once it has shipped you will receive a Tracking Code from FedEx or USPS via email. Many times this message goes to the Junk Mail folder, so check there if you haven’t received anything. Call us at 888-945-4443 if you cannot find your tracking code.

Will I receive an email confirmation after I order?

If you order online you will immediately receive an email from us confirming your order. When ordering by phone you will receive a confirmation email once your order has been fully processed.

How do I change or cancel my order?

If you wish to change or cancel your order, please email customerservice@mywonderfulwalls.com or call us as soon as possible at 888-945-4443.

 

What if my order is undeliverable?

If FedEx or USPS cannot deliver your order due to an incorrect address, the order will be returned to us. The sender is responsible for any reshipping fees charged by the postal service for redelivery of the package.

SHIPPING

How much is shipping?

We provide free shipping on orders of $90 or more within the continental US. For orders totally less than $90, the average cost is $6 to ship. To Hawaii and Alaska, the cost is usually $20, to Puerto Rico $8, to Canda $13, to most other countries $30-$40.

Regarding international orders, these are shipped through the United States Postal Service and then delivered through the local postal office. The receiver is responsible for duties, if any, assessed by their country.

 

When will it ship/arrive?

We are pretty quick when it comes to shipping and will typically have it on the truck within 2-3 business days after purchasing. We are located in Tennessee, so how long it takes to actually reach you will depend upon where you are in the country – usually 2 or 5 days. For international orders, it can take 10-20 business days.

If your country is not included in this list, send an email to customerservice@mywonderfulwalls.com and we’ll discuss your options.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

For stencil kits, as long as the stencils are unused and undamaged, you can ship it back to us, and we’ll provide you with a full refund for the product. You are responsible for the shipping costs for returned items. Regarding our wall stickers and canvas murals, given that they are all custom made, returns are generally not accepted, unless there is a problem with the product. If you are unsure if our wall stickers will work on your walls request a sample from customerservice@mywonderfulwalls.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Within 3 business days after we receive the returned item, will credit your card.

SECURITY

Are online transactions on your site secure?

Yes, all the information you provide to us, including your credit card information, is secure and deleted/shredded immediately after processing. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect your personal information.

How do you use my contact information?

Your address is used for shipping purposes only. An email address is required so that we can mail you an email confirmation after you order. Be certain that we never rent or sell your contact information to anyone for any purpose. After you purchase, we may send you an email asking for feedback and images. If you wish to be removed from that list, simply unsubscribe.

PAINT

What type of paint should I use for stenciling?

For stenciling, we recommend acrylic paints. These are conveniently available from us in Paint Kits through our website. You can also find paints at all major craft stores (e.g. Hobby Lobby, Michael’s). We prefer Americana and FolkArt brands. Be aware that some hobby acrylic paints are more watery than others. Watery acrylics will cause bleeding under the stencil. For this reason, we do not recommend Anita’s, Delta Ceramcoat or any metallic hobby paint.

Please note that we cannot ship paints outside the continental U.S.

What type of paint do I use for the background colors?

When painting the background color you will need interior latex paint, two colors for a scene with sky and hills. We recommend using a semi-gloss or satin finish. Avoid flat paint as it may result in some peeling. Latex paint is available at home stores (e.g. Lowe’s, Home Depot). If want to use the same background colors we have in our images, you can go to our Paint Kits page, select your theme, and you’ll find it there.

Are paints included in the kit?

No, but we sell Paint Kits on our website, including just the right colors and quantities of acrylic paint to fill up the entire room. If you prefer to select your own colors and quantities, acrylic paints are available in 2 oz. bottles at most major craft stores.

Please note that we cannot ship paints outside the continental U.S.

How many coats of paint are needed for the stencils?

Typically 2 light coats will do the trick. When using white, however, you may need to apply a third coat. Be sure to make only very light coats, as heavy coats will result in bleeding. Trust us on this!

What is the brand & name of the latex paint of the background colors in ___ photo?

If want to use the same background colors we have in our main image for that kit, you can go to our Paint Kits page, select your theme, and you’ll find it there.

 

Do you have a list of paint you used in the ___ kit?

Go to our Paint Kits page, select your theme, and you can see the colors and quantities we used for that kit. You will receive a full list of recommended paints in the instructions that come with your kit.

STENCILS – STENCIL KITS

Can I purchase individual stencils from a kit?

Our kits cannot be divided. We, however, may have some extras of certain stencils that we can sell you. Give us a call at 888-945-4443 if you want to check.

Can you sell me just the tree in the Splendid Garden kit?

Yes. The charge is $60 for the tree (including 2 tree flowers and one leaf). Give us a call at 888-945-4443 to arrange for this.

Can I purchase an extra stencil? I have bought the kit but need an extra __.

Yes. If you have purchased a kit and find that you need an extra stencil, the charge is $5 per stencil, plus the cost of shipping (which is typically $6 for an individual stencil shipped within the continental US). You will need to call us at 888-945-4443 to place this order.

Can I clean the stencils?

The stencils can be used efficiently approximately 6-12 times. Once they get paint on them, the paint will not come off easily. To maximize its use and keep it clean, when reusing a stencil, place it on the wall and press down with a paper towel. Some of our customer have reported that dried paint on the stencils can be removed with baby wipes.

How many times can the stencils be re-used?

To maximize its use and keep it clean, when reusing a stencil, place it on the wall and press down with a paper towel. ome of our customer have reported that dried paint on the stencils can be removed with baby wipes. Also recharge the adhesion on a stencil, you can purchase stencil spray adhesive from any craft store.

What comes in the kit? What else do I need to purchase?

The kit includes stencils, instructions, and most include brushes. Review the specific product page for exact contents.

You will also need:

Acrylic paints – used for stenciling, available by us in Paint Kits

Pre-painted room – painted with latex paint (semi-gloss or satin recommended)

Fine-tip brush – used for small touch-ups

Extra foam brushes – for convenience, the more the merrier

Ball-point pen – used for drawing eyes

Chalk – used for sketching hills

Paper plates – used to hold acrylic paints

Paper towels – used for keeping stencil clean when reusing

Scissors – used for separating stencils and cutting away any extra plastic

Will the stencils work on textured walls?

Yes, but these stencils are intended for smooth walls. With textured walls, you will probably experience some bleeding and touch-ups will be necessary. We do, however, have many clients who have used our stencils on textured walls and are completely happy with the end result, despite having to work a little bit harder to achieve the same look.

Do you sell wall letter stencils?

Yes, the charge is typically $30, but the amount may vary depending upon the size. Just give us a call (1-888-945-4443) and we’ll custom make you a stencil with your child’s name. If you want the name to fit within one of our stencils, such as the airplane banner in the Transportation Kit, we can make it fit that space for you. Alternatively, if you don’t wish to purchase a name stencil, you can watch our helpful how-to video about painting wall letters.

WALL STICKERS – STICKER KITS

Will the stickers work on textured walls?

Many of our customers have had success with our stickers on mildly textured walls. We do not recommend them for walls with a drastic texture. Request a sample from customerservice@mywonderfulwalls.com

I don’t need the whole kit. Can I just buy a portion of it?

Sorry, the kits cannot be divided. Some of our kits are available in smaller vignettes. Browse the wall sticker page to see our entire collection.

 Can I just buy the garden tree sticker?

Yes, you can purchase just the garden tree sticker. It is available in pink, lavender, teal, and white, along with coordinating birds and butterflies.

Will the stickers damage my walls?

Our wall stickers are very user-friendly. They are made from SafeCling™, a low-tack fabric adhesive material that is repositionable, removable, and reusable. It sticks well to walls, is easy-to apply and easy-to-clean. It is virtually impossible to mess up and leaves no messy residue when you remove it from your walls. It is great stuff!

Can I reposition/reuse the stickers?

Yes. That said, the more you move them, the less tacky they will become. If you want to move an entire mural from one place to another, return the stickers to their backing paper and store them in the original mailing tube.

 Can I put multiple names on the sign? Or can I buy an extra sign?

Yes. Typically 2 names will fit on any of our personalized signs. Extra signs for each are also available for purchase for an additional $25. Go to the product page you are interested in, and you can add an extra sign to your Shopping Can there.

 
CANVAS ART

How do I color-adjust the canvas art to match my bedding?

Send us an image, or link to an image, with the color scheme you would like to use (e.g. the bedding set). Also let us know which murals you are planning on purchasing. We will then adjust our colors to match your color scheme and send you a digital image of the set for your approval. For more information about this see our color-adjust page.

 

How much does it cost to color-adjust?

Buy two or more panels and color adjustment is free. To adjust color for one panel only, the charge is $20.

Do you have a printed catalog?

No, we do not have a printed catalog, but you can view our entire collection online. If you need information about a specific product, please contact us and we’ll be happy to mail you the information.

Are your products made in the USA?

Yes, all of our products are made in the USA, including our stencil kits, canvas art, brushes and paint.

Though we began our operation with production overseas, we have now moved it all in-house. For 1 of our kits, we still have some inventory from overseas, but all production now takes place in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.
