Transcript: Painting with the Simply Clouds Wall Mural Stencil Kit

Michael – Hi, I’m Michael from MyWonderfulWalls.com. Some of our decorating kits come with cloud stencils. Today, I’m going to show you how to add variety and texture to the clouds using these stencils. I’ve painted the first layer using the large cloud stencil. Now, I’m going to make the cloud larger and change its form by overlapping with a smaller stencil. If you’re going to paint several clouds in the nursery or kid’s room, this prevents your clouds from looking repetitive. Now, I’ll paint one more layer on the other side, just for fun. I’ll add texture and depth to the cloud with a bristled brush. I’ve put just a small amount of my blue base coat on the brush, and I’m just going to work around the cloud, adding some shadows and blending the cloud into the sky. And there you go: a cute little cloud for your child’s room. You can make an infinite variety of forms using just these two stencils. Thanks for watching. I’m Michael.
