My Wonderful Walls was started because Michael wanted to help parents who didn’t have too much artistic ability be able to create beautiful wall murals for their children. But it’s so nice to hear praise from parents who consider themselves artistic and in the case of Jilian from Livonia, Michigan has a design degree. While we pride ourselves on making products “real people” can use easily, it is nice to be appreciated by folks who live and breathe art and design as well! MWW: What product did you purchase from My Wonderful Walls?
Jilian: Forest Friends Wall Mural Stencil Kit with paint
MWW: Why did you pick this nursery theme/product?
Jilian: Figured the animal theme was a safe bet for the lil guy, and preferred this to the jungle theme because I liked the tall trees.
MWW: What made you pick wall stencils over stickers?
Jilian: Everybody does stickers! I knew the stencils would be more work but worth it. And everybody who has seen it is blown away. Great product and price!
MWW: How long did the wall mural take you to complete?
Jilian: A week, though I took my time.
MWW: What did you enjoy about the wall mural creation experience? Was it what you expected?
Jilian: More enjoyable than expected; fun to choose where and what to put up.
MWW: Do you have any helpful tips for people who use our wall stencil products?
Jilian: Clean the stencils before using them for a second time.
MWW: Tell us a little about your experience with the product and with the My Wonderful Walls folks in general.
Jilian: Great price especially including the paint, and even price for the brushes. Needed some extra stencils (leaves) and customer service was very kind and helpful. Would recommend, and have been, to anybody.
MWW: Did you utilize any or all of the resources on our website (how-to videos, virtual mural maker, photos)?
Jilian: I looked at the customer photo gallery before purchasing; nice to know that "real people" achieved the same results as advertised prior to buying.
MWW: If you could change one thing about the decorating process, what would it be?
Jilian: Provide black paint for the animals' eyes.
